...but the biggest mistake I made is the one that most of us make while doing this. I did not live in the moment enough. This is particularly clear now that the moment is gone, captured only in photographs. There is one picture of the three on them sitting in the grass on a quilt in the shadow of the swing set on a summer day, ages 6, 4, and 1. And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in a hurry to get on to the next things: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less.

Germany!
for a whole year...
bittersweet.
they will be
teaching at
a boarding school
for students of
missionary parents.
God has worked everything
out for them. my prayer
is that God blesses
them and keeps them safe
while they are away.

scrapbooking

so my local scrapbook
store is looking for someone
to teach classes...i
would

to
do
this. but
i wonder
if i really have it in
me...not to mention the time
to do it. or is it that i
just
{love}
the thought of doing it.
all i have to do is call the lady
at the store to set up an appointment,
bring some of my stuff in to leave at
the store. she
is going
to
have
customers vote. have i called her...no
have i gotten my stuff together or
made anything new...no.

so...if i do end up taking some
of my "work" i'll let you
know so you can vote for me!!!
